The Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship program of the Ohio State University is a joint program between OSU and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Specialties: EEG, EMG, epilepsy, neuromuscular clinic and sleep studies. The program provides extensive hands-on exposure to a variety of neurophysiologic tests and subspecialty clinics. Fellows can participate in a wide variety of clinical research programs under the guidance of the fellowship faculty. The Clinical Neurophysiology program provides an ACGME accredited one year subspecialty training experience. Our goal is to provide didactic and clinic experience that prepares each fellow to become board certified through extensive hands-on exposure and one-on-one supervision by board certified neurophysiologists. Successful completion of this fellowship allows the fellow to sit for the added qualification in neurophysiology board.
General Neurophysiology: This is a one-year fellowship which allows the fellow additional training in clinical neurophysiology, epilepsy and neuromuscular diseases of both children and adults. The fellow will spend time in the outpatient setting of epilepsy and neuromuscular clinics, the EEG laboratories, inpatient epilepsy monitoring units and EMG labs. Additional training is available in intraoperative monitoring and sleep medicine.
